The Value Added Services (VAS) project is a key component of the bank's main sources of revenue. VAS provides a variety of everyday consumer services through the banking app, including data and voice recharge, bill payment, vehicle license renewal, lottery participation, and more.
VAS aims to simplify daily life by introducing new services for Nedbank users, enabling them to achieve their goals more efficiently.
The VAS team works in an agile environment, holding regular stand-up meetings to track requirements and updating the Kanban board to monitor workload.
These meetings included key team members such as offshore developers, business analysts, product owners, and others to ensure that the VAS team is aligned with requirements and objectives. The design lead and I actively participated in meetings with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to grasp the business needs for our team's deliverables.
